Summer Stout Tap Takeover at River North Brewery: Denver's Celebration of Dark Beer

At most breweries, stout season comes and goes with the weather. The temperatures rise, the patio fills up, and the focus shifts entirely to lighter styles built for summer drinking. While we love a crisp lager or easy drinking ale as much as anyone, we've never believed the changing seasons mean dark beer should disappear from the tap list.

That's why we're excited to introduce the first ever Summer Stout Tap Takeover at River North Brewery on Saturday, June 20. Inspired by our annual Super Stout celebration, this event is dedicated to the idea that great stouts deserve a place on the menu all year long. After all, if a beer is worth drinking in January, why wouldn't it be worth drinking in June?

What's Pouring?

You can expect a lineup packed with specialty stouts, fresh releases, barrel-aged favorites, and some of the boldest beers we brew. From rich chocolate and roasted coffee notes to layers of barrel character and bold high-ABV pours, there will be plenty worth exploring throughout the day.

Great Beer, Great Food, and a Father's Day Bonus

Of course, great beer deserves great food. At our North taproom, La Jefita will be serving up its popular Mexican fare, while Gourmet Ghost will be at RiNo with their delicious rotating menu. You'll have plenty of options to pair with whatever's in your glass.

We're also giving dads an extra reason to stop by. In honor of Father's Day, all dads, dog dads, and father figures will receive a free taster of their choice. Maybe it's a barrel-aged stout they've had their eye on, or maybe it's simply an excuse to enjoy a great beer with family and friends. We can't think of a better way to celebrate the occasion than with a great beer.
