River North Brewery GABF Week 2026 | Denver Events & Tap Takeovers

GABF week is coming back to Denver, and River North Brewery is going all in. From Wednesday, October 7 through Sunday, October 11, both River North taprooms will be packed with special tappings, industry hangs, Beer Nerd Trivia, past GABF medal winners, dark beer, extended hours and plenty of reasons to make River North your home base for the week.
Got GABF tickets? Come find us at the festival. Skipping the fest this year? Even better excuse to hang at the taprooms. Either way, River North has your beer week covered.
GABF looks a little different this year. The festival is heading outdoors to the park, which means you might spot some familiar River North faces pouring at our booth, wandering around the festival or hanging out with the squirrels. Squirrels Just Want to Have Fun, after all.

Your GABF Week at River North
Wednesday, October 7: GABF Kickoff + Industry Day
We’re starting GABF week the way it should start: with a beer. Brewers, your first full pour is on us at either River North taproom. Swing by RiNo or North, grab a beer, catch up with friends from around the industry and get GABF week rolling.
Food truck: La Jefita | 4-8PM
Thursday, October 8: GABF Beer Nerd Trivia
If you’ve spent years collecting a ridiculous amount of beer knowledge, Thursday is your time to shine. Our regular Thursday night trivia is getting the GABF treatment with a full Beer Nerd edition at the RiNo taproom. Trivia starts at 6:30PM, it’s free to play and there are some pretty solid prizes on the line.
HOURS
3-9PM
Food truck: Chicago Beef & Sausage | 3-9PM
Friday, October 9: GABF Mini Stout Tap Takeover
Time to go dark. Friday, we’re loading up the taps at both River North locations with stout, including the release of Barrel-Aged Nightmare Fuel and a lineup of dark beer built for GABF weekend. RiNo will have six stout taps, with plenty of the dark stuff flowing at North too.
Consider yourself warned: this one may be worth planning your Friday around.
HOURS
RiNo: 12-10PM | North: 3-8PM
Saturday, October 10: Past GABF Medal Winners Tap Takeover
We’ve been at this for a while, and GABF has been pretty good to River North over the years. Saturday, we’re bringing some of our past Great American Beer Festival medal winners back to the taps at both locations.
Get ready for White, Squirrels Just Want to Have Fun, Midnight Hike, Nightmare Fuel and more. It’s your chance to drink through some River North history and revisit the beers that have taken the GABF stage over the years.

RiNo: 12-10PM | North: 1-8PM
Food trucks:
RiNo: De Mi Tierra Puerto Rican

Sunday, October 11: GABF Awards Ceremony Watch Party
Sunday morning, we’re opening RiNo early and watching the GABF Awards Ceremony together. Doors open at 11AM, the awards start at noon and we’ll have beers in hand to see how this year shakes out.
Hopefully, you’ll see some familiar River North faces take the stage. And if we bring home some medals, we might just tap the winners. Fingers crossed!
HOURS
11AM-8ish
Food truck: The Captain Sushi & Tacos
Not Going to GABF? Come Hang at River North.
No festival ticket? No problem. Some of the best parts of GABF week happen outside the festival anyway.
Both River North taprooms will be pouring special beers, bringing back old favorites and hosting events all week, so you can still get the full Denver beer week experience without ever stepping into the festival. If giant festival crowds aren’t your thing, consider this your excuse to post up at the taproom instead.

Make River North Your GABF Headquarters in Denver
Our RiNo taproom at 3400 Blake Street puts you right in the middle of Denver’s brewery scene. Head a little farther north to 6021 Washington Street and you’ll find our production facility and barrel-aging program all under one roof. If big barrel-aged beers and admiring a beautiful brewhouse sound like your kind of GABF break, North is your spot.
You’ll find the River North crew all over Denver during GABF week, from behind the bars at our taprooms to pouring in the park.
Come find us. We’ll see you out there.
Cheers,
Your River North Crew
