Every March we dedicate a day to one of the most underrated styles in craft beer. Rich, roasty, layered, and full of character, the porter deserves its moment in the spotlight. That moment is Porter Palooza.
On Saturday, March 14, River North Brewery will tap a lineup of 10+ porters that show just how versatile this style can be, from classic chocolatey roast to deeper, more complex variations. It’s always one of our favorite days of the year.
Porter Palooza takes place Saturday, March 14 at both River North taprooms in Denver.
We will be pouring multiple porter variations throughout the event, including several limited releases brewed specifically for the day. Some beers will be available in small quantities, so if there is something you are excited about we recommend coming early.
Blog Exclusive Beer Drop
And since you are reading the blog, you are hearing this first.
Two of the porters dropping that day will be available on tap and in bottles:
• Hello Darkness XO
• Espresso Hello Darkness

Want the Tap List Before Everyone Else?
Want to be the first to hear about the full Porter Palooza tap list before the public?
We will also announce a few dessert pairings we have in the works for the event to newsletter subscribers first.
Free Taster on Us
Porter Palooza is free to attend, but if you want a little extra perk we recommend RSVPing to the event.
RSVP on Eventbrite and receive one complimentary taster of your choice on event day at either taproom. It’s our way of saying thanks for helping us plan the day and honestly, who doesn’t like free beer?
Food at Porter Palooza
Of course you need some tasty eats to soak up these incredible porters.
At the North Taproom, Chef May I Call will be serving his rotating menu including cheesesteaks, a pastrami Reuben, and potato leek soup. Over at the RiNo Taproom, El Tres Loras will be serving mouthwatering Mexican food.
Join us March 14 and celebrate the darker side of beer. Because at River North, dark beer season never ends.
Cheers,
Your River North Crew
