Bring the Darkness returns to both River North taprooms this Saturday, September 26, and we’ve been saving some of the best dark beer in River North history for it. We’re talking barrel-aged beasts, cellar favorites, beers you haven’t seen on draft in a long time and one brand new release making its debut.
North is getting the full treatment with 10 dark beers on tap, while RiNo will have its own lineup of 6 dark pours. Flights will be available, because choosing just one would be ridiculous. And at the center of it all is a new beer we’ve been waiting to unleash...
Meet Effed Up & Barrel Stout
A demented idea to brew a Colorado bourbon barrel-aged stout that ever endures. We wanted something deeper. Something darker. More devilish, yet devine.
The result is Effed Up & Barrel-Aged Stout, an 18.5% ABV extreme barrel-aged imperial stout making its official debut at Bring The Darkness. It'll be available on draft and in bottles to take home. Drink it now or stash a bottle (or five) away. This beer will age gracefully for years.

At RiNo, we’re welcoming Saint Tony’s Pizza Pop! Enjoy handcrafted artisan pizzas, dips, and delicious desserts from 12:30-7pm. At North, Mi Changarro is serving up tortas, burritos, tacos, and more tasty Mexican favorites from 12-7pm. Yum!
