The Star of the Show: Ex-Honey Whiskey Barrel Aged Porter – Honey Hello Darkness
Now, let’s talk about the highlight of this year’s event: Honey Hello Darkness, our Ex-Honey Whiskey Barrel Aged Porter. This one’s truly a standout. We’ve aged it in a unique combination of barrels—first filled with Colorado whiskey, then with Colorado honey, followed by Colorado single malt whiskey, and finally with our imperial porter for 18 months. Aged in award-winning Spirit Hound barrels, this bold creation comes in at 13.1% ABV. It’s rich, decadent, and a true masterpiece. What’s better than a cold porter and some amazing food? Not much, we’d say. El Tres Loras Food Truck will be on site at our Blake Street taproom with their incredible tacos and other tasty treats. We will have Chill in a Box Food Truck at our Washington Street taproom serving up delicious chilaquiles, tacos and burgers to keep you going strong. Pair your beer with some seriously good eats, and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect day. Bonus Treat: Girl Scout cookies will be available at our Washington Street taproom to pair perfectly with your favorite porter! 🍪🍻
