Consider this your official warning: our award-winning coffee stout is returning on Saturday, June 28th to fuel your summer nights.

Nightmare Fuel is River North’s fan-favorite imperial coffee stout—packed with rich roasted character, bold coffee aroma, and enough smooth chocolatey depth to satisfy even the pickiest stout lover. Brewed with locally roasted beans from our friends at Logan House Coffee, this caffeinated brew delivers a full-bodied experience with layers of dark chocolate and espresso magic that might just replace your morning cup. (Hey, we don’t judge.)

A longtime taproom favorite, Nightmare Fuel has racked up some serious hardware—taking gold at World Beer Cup, Brussels Beer Challenge, European Beer Star, and the Colorado Brewers Cup, just to name a few. It’s safe to say the judges are just as obsessed as we are.

Every batch is brewed in collaboration with Logan House Coffee, whose expertly roasted beans bring this beer to life. Their coffee adds depth and complexity, and the result is a stout that’s intense, balanced, and unmistakably River North.

Think stouts are just for winter? Think again. With its smooth, roasty finish and subtle sweetness, Nightmare Fuel is perfect for summer evenings, backyard hangs, or post-yoga sips in the sun.

What’s Happening on Release Day

Nightmare Fuel returns this Saturday, June 28th, and we’ve got a full day lined up at both taprooms to celebrate.

At the RiNo Taproom:

Join us for Tacos, Yoga & Beer starting at 12pm, our weekly yoga session followed by a well-earned beer and tasty tacos. This week’s featured food truck is La Capital del Taco, serving from 12:30pm–7pm. Grab your yoga tickets HERE and start your day with a stretch and a stout.

At the North Taproom:

We’re welcoming back Shuggs BBQ from 2pm–7pm. Pair your Nightmare Fuel with Shuggs’ mouthwatering BBQ, homemade sides, and more—all served from their massive full-sized RV food truck. Whether it’s the size of the truck or the smell of meat that grabs your attention, this one’s guaranteed to hit the spot.

Nightmare Fuel will be available on draft and in bottles to-go at both taprooms.

This release always moves fast—don’t sleep on it.
