Everything You Need to Know About Dogtoberfest 2025 in Denver

The season of sweaters, steins, and wagging tails is here, and we’re gearing up for our 5th Annual Dogtoberfest. Let’s just say, this one is shaping up to be the best yet.

Dogtoberfest has become one of our favorite fall traditions. Every year it brings together beer lovers, dog lovers, and people who just love a good time. Whether your pup is the star of the show or you just want to enjoy a pint surrounded by wagging tails, this event is your ticket to a great afternoon.

Beer Releases

What’s an Oktoberfest without festive brews? We’re tapping River North Festbier, our crisp, crushable take on a classic Oktoberfest lager, and our newest creation in the Effed Up series, Effed Up Dubbel. This Belgian-style dubbel has a River North twist that will have you saying “one more, please.” These beers are made for clinking mugs and cool fall days.

Last Year’s Shenanigans

If you were here last year, you know it was a blast. The stein-holding contest had people’s arms shaking and the crowd cheering. Pups went wild for the free pup cups from GoodVets, which might have been the real highlight of the day — if you ask the dogs. And of course, the costume contest had everyone dressed to impress. Lederhosen, dirndls, you name it. The creativity was off the charts!

What’s New This Year

We’re leveling up the fun with a few new additions:

Vendors: We’re excited to welcome back familiar faces like GoodVets Denver and introduce some new ones, including Paw Print Memories Photography and PawLuv Rescue. Paw Print Memories will be capturing your pups at their cutest and silliest, creating keepsake photos you can treasure forever. PawLuv Rescue will bring adoptable pups and share their mission to save animals in need. And that’s just a few of the amazing vendors you’ll find at Dogtoberfest this year!

River North Dog Merch Drop: You’ve seen our doggy mascot Hank strutting around the brewery in his bandana. Now it’s your dog’s turn! Crafted by Zoey’s Woof Wear, these bandanas are high quality, cute, and ready to be rocked all over town. Stock is limited, so grab one for your pup (or yourself – we won’t tell) before they’re gone.

Dog Costume Contest: What’s a dog party without a costume contest? Dress to impress and strut your furry friend’s style. The best dressed pup will take home the grand prize and bragging rights for the season!

Splash Pools: Our Doggy Splash Days were such a hit this summer that we had to bring out the pools again. Who says splashing is just for July?
