Hey friends!
Belgian Day is one of our favorite days of the year here at River North. It’s our way of raising a glass to Belgian Independence Day, which marks the anniversary of Belgium becoming its own country back in 1831. For us, it also brings things full circle. It takes us back to where it all began, over 13 years ago when we first opened our doors as a Belgian-style brewery. Every year, this celebration brings that spirit back to life with amazing beers, good food, and a whole lot of fun.
This year, our 8th Annual Belgian Day is happening on Saturday, July 19 at both our North and RiNo Taprooms. We’ll be pouring over 14 different Belgian-style beers, with 10 at the North Taproom and 4 or more at RiNo—plus a few surprise taps that might pop up throughout the day...
🎉 Featured Bottle Releases (Don’t Miss These!)
We’re thrilled to highlight two very special bottle releases, available at both taprooms during Belgian Day and already turning heads:
Ex-Honey Whiskey Barrel Aged J. Marie – 12.9% ABV
A fun twist on our beloved fan favorite imperial saison, aged in award-winning Spirit Hound barrels that previously held Colorado honey and single malt whiskey. Floral, smooth, and perfectly balanced.
Effed Up & Barrel-Aged Tripel – 19.4% ABV
A bold, boozy beast. This special version of our Effed Up Tripel spent time aging in Laws Bourbon barrels, soaking up all that rich bourbon character for a dangerously smooth finish.

We’re going all in this year with over 14 Belgian-style beers pouring across both taprooms. If Belgian brews aren’t your go-to, don’t worry—each location will also feature a selection of non-Belgian options like Colorado IPA, lighter styles, and other River North favorites.

Norther Society Members get early access before the Belgian Day extravaganza kicks off. Plus, Wafflerita Food Truck will be slinging sweet and savory waffles from 1 to 5 PM (or until sold out).
RiNo Taproom | 3400 Blake Street
Start your day with Tacos, Yoga & Beer, then swing by the Hangin N' Slangin Vintage Market on the patio. We’ll wrap the night with laughs at the Pesto & Goat Cheese Comedy Show, featuring touring comedians Conner Willey and Julia Leahy.
