Sixth Anniversary Bash!

Man, where does the time go? This month, we will officially mark six years of great beer and even better friendships. To celebrate, we are throwing down for our Sixth Anniversary Bash!

On Saturday, February 24th and Sunday, February 25th, we’ll be pulling out all the stops to show how grateful we are for you taking this wild ride with us. Starting at Noon on the 24th, we will release two brand-new limited beers! They are:

Anniversary Ale #6 - A Belgian-style imperial stout with more than four pounds per barrel of cacao nibs, for an old-world-inspired chocolate explosion that harkens back to our roots. Drier than your typical imperial stout and rife with nuanced esters, this jet-black, 13.7% ABV brew is reminiscent of a cherry cordial – the booze-filled kind. Layer that with silky, rich chocolate, and you get a #SUPERSTOUT unlike any we’ve released before. We will have Anniversary Ale #6 on tap and in bottles to go ($10 each with a one case limit), and this beer is certain to age gracefully for years to come.

Double Dry Hopped Mountain Haze – The juiciest take yet on our New England IPA (which by the way, is slated for a can release next month). Brewed with Citra, dry-hopped on more Citra and Galaxy hops, then dry-hopped AGAIN with an all-new Australian hop varietal, Enigma. This beer utilizes more than seven pounds per barrel of hops, a downright-irresponsible effort to bring you the most explosive flavor experience you’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. Bursting with notes of coniferous mango and berry, this brew will only be available on tap and in Crowlers to go ($14 each, no limit).

On Saturday, our good friends at Matt’s Snack Shack, one of our original food trucks, will join the party with their legendary wings and loaded grilled cheese sandwiches.

On Sunday, we will also tap several new single-keg variations of Mr. Sandman imperial stout, part of an ongoing quest for unique flavor combinations. Come vote for your favorite version, with the winner to be brewed in full for a future bottle release!

And like every year, we’ll have tons of extra goodies and surprise tappings, with vintage beers dating back to 2015. From our recent line of #SUPERSTOUTS, to the Decennial and Vicennial Series, to the sole remaining keg of Big City Quad, we’ll be pouring rare gems all weekend. Look for an opening taplist to be published late next week.

Every year around this time, we are taken aback by this wildly fun and fulfilling journey. More than anything else, we cherish the friendships we’ve made these past six years.

Finally, we have a request: we’ve been building a collection of old bottles from throughout our history, but there’s still some we’re missing. If you have an empty vintage RNB bottle missing from our collection, bring it in, and we’ll gladly buy you a round for adding to the display.
