Mr. Sandman & Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman

In a world of imperial stouts gone mad (and we’re no strangers to such madness), sometimes it’s good to pay homage to the classics. No adjuncts, no added flavors, just layer upon layer of roasted malt and barrel.

Enter Mr. Sandman, our award-winning american imperial stout. On Saturday, December 9th, we will drop a fresh batch of this classic beer along with Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman, both on tap and in bottles to go!

Mr. Sandman comes in at 11.9% ABV, but drinks smooth and full, beckoning you back for more. Its bolstered brother, Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman, finishes at 13.2% ABV. A tranquil ten month rest in oak casks takes it to the next level, drawing notes from a blend of barrels formerly holding Colorado bourbon, Colorado single malt whiskey and Utah rye whiskey. This will be the first release of a barrel-aged version of Mr. Sandman outside of the ultra-rare Single Cask Series.

Bottles will run $10 for Mr. Sandman and $12 for Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman, with a one-case limit each. A beer lover’s dream, both these bottles will age exceptionally well and make for great gifts!

Doors will open at Noon for the release party, with food by RagBag Bistro.
