Single Cask J. Marie - Chardonnay

We are excited to announce the second offering in the 2017 Single Cask series: Single Cask J. Marie - Chardonnay! An imperial saison aged in a single white wine barrel selected for its superior character, this gem debuts Saturday, March 25that Noon in the taproom.

Designed to showcase the essence of a sole brewer-selected barrel, Single Cask beers are our most limited barrel-aged releases, typically yielding 30 cases or less. With such a short supply, the only place to snag Single Cask J. Marie is in the taproom. All River Norther Society members are guaranteed one reserved bottle with their membership, leaving just 20 cases available to the public. On release day, you can take home up to six bottles at $12 each. We will also have Single Cask J. Marie on tap for a limited time.

While we have released wine-barrel-aged variations of J. Marie in the past, this solitary hand-selected chardonnay barrel takes it to another level. J. Marie’s explosive stonefruit aroma and dry finish is perfectly complemented by notes of oaky pear and toasted coconut, dancing delicately on the tongue. Deceptively light and quaffable, this beer screams spring.

As an added bonus, on release day we’ll host brand new food truck, Hoof, Wing and Fin, offering a unique charcuterie and sandwich menu unlike any other in town. Ask your bartender for recommended pairings.
