2016 Whiskey Barrel Quandary!

Among our three revered barrel-aged beers, one tends to be rarer than the others.

Whiskey Barrel Quandary last released in January 2015. Only the third batch of that brew, it quickly became a favorite, scoring a 98/100 in DRAFT Magazine. Now the next installment is ready, after a full year and a half in the making.

2016 Whiskey Barrel Quandary debuts this Saturday, July 16th at noon!

Our neoclassic quadrupel aged in a blend of whiskey barrels, this beer delivers all the traditional dark fruit notes you’ve come to expect from Quandary, with the additional complexity of a lingering oak and warming finish. Truly decadent, this is a beer to savor, and can be enjoyed now or cellared for years to come.

On Saturday, we’ll have Whiskey Barrel Quandary both on tap and in bottles to go. Single 375ml bottles will run $10 each, but new for this release, we’re offering full cases of twelve at $108. We know a few of you out there have been waiting for this beer awhile (looking at you, Todd!), so if you need some extra bottles for your cellar, we want to make that happen for you.

Like previous releases of this beer, when it’s gone, it’s gone. Brews like this take time, and the next batch will likely not appear until next year.
