Well, we are well known for our barrel-aged program and stouts, so it is time we welcome Stout Season with a Stout Takeover at both taprooms this Saturday, October 17th: BRING ON THE STOUTS!

With the colder temps rolling in, everyone’s looking for the darker beers to keep them cozy and warm. We will be tapping stouts varying from a dry milk stout, an imperial stout barrel-aged in whiskey, gin, rum, and tequila barrels, as well as many others that have been around for years. Some you might have had the chance to try before, some might be new for you (hint: a NEW Barrel Aged Avarice). There will be teasers of what beers will be tapped throughout the week via our social media channels.

The Blake Street taproom at 3400 Blake Street will have Santina’s food truck for Saturday’s Stout Takeover. The Washington Street taproom at 6021 N. Washington Street will have Las Cazuelas de Fer, a Mexican food truck.

Here’s a sweet surprise for everyone missing GABF: this Friday, October 16th, both taprooms will be releasing a special Hop-A-Tronic Lupulositor featuring two new hop varieties. This new beer will be on tap and in six-packs to go. This Hop-A-Tronic Lupulositor features Citra and Nelson hops, giving the New England Style Double IPA a fresh new taste.
