Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman

About a year ago, we released a single barrel’s worth of rum-aged Mr. Sandman as part of the Single Cask Series. It was a run-away staff and fan favorite among all our imperial stouts. Naturally, the gears were set in motion for a full 2018 release, because one single barrel could never be enough.

On Saturday, August 11th at Noon, we’ll debut Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman in the taproom! A dark beer lover’s tropical dream, it brings the full-bodied roasty goodness you’ve come to expect from Mr. Sandman, complimented by waves of dry oak and molasses. No sweet adjuncts or unnecessary flavor additions, just layer upon layer of beer, barrel and spirit.

We’ll have Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman both on tap and in bottles to go when we open at Noon on August 11th. Bottles will run $12 each with a one-case limit.

But why stop there? As an added bonus, we’ll also tap kegs of 2017 Mr. Sandman, 2017 Whiskey Barrel Mr. Sandman and Chai Mr. Sandman.

And as long as we’re at it, how about a single-keg sneak preview of Mr. Sandman XO – aged 21 months in whiskey barrels and slated for release during GABF!

All of those will be available on tap and in Crowlers to go. Our friends from Sabas Ethiopian food truck will also be out front with plenty of delicious eats.

While a limited amount of Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman will hit store shelves following the release, it is sure to go fast…if you want to make sure these coveted bottles make it to your beer cellar, your best bet is right here at the brewery!
