POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

 

Beertender (FULL or PART-TIME - WEEKENDS REQUIRED)

Hourly Wage: $15.27 (Colorado tipped hourly wage) an hour, plus tips
Tips average $10-20/hr



POSITION SUMMARY: River North Brewery is a local craft brewery located in the heart of RiNo, Colorado. Known for our extensive barrel-aged program, IPAs, and imperial styles, River North Brewery has been a part of the Colorado craft beer scene since 2012. As a Beertender, you will be responsible for knowing all details about our beers, as well as opening and closing the taproom, managing onsite and to-go sales, maintaining draft lines, maintaining the cleanliness of the taproom as well as providing excellent customer service. This position reports to the Taproom Manager for River North Brewery. We are looking for individuals with a love of craft beer and an interest in River North Brewery and the craft beer industry as a whole with availability Wednesday - Saturday with some Sundays.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the day and be eager to build customer relationships

• Be comfortable working entire shifts by yourself

• Handle crowds and keep yourself busy when it's slow

• Appreciate craft beer and the community

• Regularly walk, climb, balance, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time

• Handle cash and credit card sales

• Perform opening and closing duties that include cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping, and other daily cleaning tasks

• Openly communicate ideas and suggestions for taproom improvements

• Restock to-go coolers, bottles, and merch

• Clean lines, draft, and crowler machine maintenance

• TiPs certified or willing to get certified within 60 days (company reimburses any costs)

• Execute safe work operations, safety policies, and procedures

• Perform any additional tasks as required by Taproom Manager
