It’s the most delicious time of the year, and we have the perfect centerpiece for your Thanksgiving feast.
This Saturday, November 17th, we will unveil the 2018 vintage of Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman!
For the uninitiated, Mr. Sandman is our award-winning American imperial stout. Take that beer and age it up a full year in Colorado bourbon barrels, and you have the once-a-year treat known as Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman. Deep, dark, and dreamy, one taste and you’ll be yearning for more. Our brewers agree – this batch is our best yet.
We will have both 2018 Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman and a fresh batch of classic Mr. Sandman on tap and in bottles to go when the taproom opens at Noon on Saturday. Snag bottles of the classic version for $10 each, and up to a full case of Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman for $12 each. And yes, both these beers will age gracefully for years to come.
But the festivities don’t stop there. Starting at 2pm we will feature a four-part beer and pie-style cookie pairing with Good Sugar Baking, with Thanksgiving flavors like a stout pecan pie cookie with Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman. No tickets necessary, just get here before we run out – Katie will also be taking orders for full-size pies for your Thanksgiving meal!
Finally, in the spirit of the season, for the first time we’ll offer Pumpkin Spice Mr. Sandman. This limited one-off will only be available on draft, but we will fill Crowlers while they last! We may also raid the cellar for some other goodies…
