5th Anniversary Bash Feb. 18-19!
Five freakin’ years!
Come celebrate with us for our 5th Anniversary Bash! February 18th and 19th - Saturday and Sunday – we’re throwing down! To celebrate five years, we’re brewing two never-before-seen beers, both releasing at Noon on Saturday.
About the beers:
Anniversary Ale 5: A classic American Double IPA, our official birthday beer is bursting with loads of hops, featuring Amarillo, El Dorado and Mosaic. This hop-bomb will be available on tap and in bottles to go ($6 each, limit one case per person per day).
Anniversary Ale 5 ¼ (“Five-and-a-quarter”): Because one beer just wasn’t enough, we will also release an irresponsibly-over-hopped hazy IPA, brewed with copious late additions of Mosaic, Citra and Idaho 7. This taproom-only release will only be available on tap or in 32-ounce Crowlers to go ($10 each, no limit until it’s gone)!
But you don’t have to bother fighting the crowd right at noon. For $25, you can reserve two bottles of Anny 5, one Crowler of Anny 5 ¼, plus one pour of any beer on tap. Beer for ticket-holders will be reserved separately for pickup anytime Saturday or Sunday, even if we are sold out. Basically, if you buy a ticket, we will fill your Crowlers before the weekend, and stash your bottles until you can get down here. Don’t take any chances; if you want more than one allotment, simply snag extra tickets!

Rotating rare tappings throughout the day – Kick one keg, tap another! Featuring rarities such as Single Cask Mr. Sandman, Rum Barrel Quandary, Anniversary 4 ¼, Barrel Aged Nightmare Fuel and Whiskey Barrel Quandary!
Crawfish boil by our good friends Roaming Bull Brasserie (in addition to regular menu).
Free live show by The Dollhouse Thieves 4-6pm.
Sunday (open Noon to 7pm)
“Lock up the Cellar” Sale – your last chance to snag bottles of God Complex, Shadowman and Father Time – our infamous Decennial Series, intended for aging up to one decade. After Sunday, the rest goes away for future brewery verticals. We will also release a few precious cases of Single Cask Mr. Sandman (limit one bottle per customer, starting at Noon). And, of course, don’t forget classic Mr. Sandman, recently named best imperial stout in the country by Paste Magazine.

Bottle raffle for a complete vertical set of every River North Anniversary beer, numbers 1 through 5 ¼ (6 beers), with 100% of proceeds going to Be the Change Volunteers – tickets will be $5, available starting at Noon with prize drawing at 5pm. Be The Change Volunteers builds, refurbishes, equips and trains schools and education centers worldwide.
