The best holiday gift of all – Barrel Aged Avarice!
The single highest rated beer we brew, our beloved whiskey-aged belgian imperial stout makes it annual return this Saturday, November 26th at Noon. The release party features 2016 Barrel Aged Avarice on tap and in bottles to go - $10 each, 1 case limit.
Jet black and silky smooth, Barrel Aged Avarice is drier than your typical imperial stout, thanks to our hardy Belgian yeast. A full year’s rest in only the choicest whiskey barrels provides the perfect balance, not too sweet yet delightfully decadent.
As a bonus, we’ll also tap a single keg of 2015 Barrel Aged Avarice, to enjoy side-by-side.
But that’s not all: this release party will also feature a freaky-fresh batch of Hoppenberg belgian double ipa. This infamous brew pairs the citrus floral bite of West Coast American hops with a delicate Belgian esters, giving you the best of both continents.
We’ll have Hoppenberg both on tap in bottles to go, but please note that bottles are significantly more limited than with previous releases of this beer. Snag singles for $6, with a one case limit. Once Hopp is gone, it won’t return until sometime around spring.
Our friends from What Would Cheesus Do will also post up out front, with gourmet grilled cheese sammies all day.
